Public Law In Rome

In Order To Keep Order In Rome
There had to be rules to create peace

One of our most important table of the Twelve 
 Tables is Public Law. This table includes

laws that protect the safety of our citizens.
For example, Law III. When a judge, or 
an arbiter appointed to hear a case, accepts
money, or other gifts, for the purpose of
influencing his decision, he 
shall suffer the penalty of death. this law grants and secures a citizens
right to fair trial
